I have a set of the 6x9 4 way 800w of course mine are almost 3 years old they are still just as loud as the first day I bought them and they can hit out some hard bass if you know how to set them up. The only downfall of the phantom skull speakers is the skull face plate and the mounting depth I have mine in a 02 ford focus I had to cut the door panels to mount these since I still wanted use of my windows the faceplates can get messed up really easily and they will fry the whole speaker

Better Than Expected!!
Nice speakers they are. Came in a nice box and had them installed for about $50. I hadn't been able to use my rear speakers for about 5 months, because they were blown, so I was excited to find a pair so inexpensive. I have never seen the red eyes light-up, and don't even understand how they would since there is no battery-supply to create the light. That and there isn't a bulb in the eyes to light-up. Either way, I think it looks much better with the black covers over them. I've received compliments on the sound by numerous people riding and constantly see people turning heads to see who's sound is so loud. All-in-all good speakers if you have none, but if you're looking for permanent speakers, I wouldn't stick here. I'm upgrading in a month or two but it's been a GREAT set for the interim!
