Current Openings

Position: Senior Accountant

Reports to: Controller

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general ledger accountability, and financial reporting, as well as financial profitability analysis and other special projects as assigned. Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for monthly general ledger close. Assist in the preparation and distribution of financial statements. Ensure that all deliverables comply with professional standards. Provide assistance to Assistant Controller with external audits. Assist with accounting related general ledger projects and other special projects assigned by management.

  • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, reports, and records by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information
  • Assists in preparation of monthly management report and accompanying schedules, worksheets, and narratives, including “Budget vs. Actual” variance reports and providing follow-up and documentation of significant variances
  • Assist in the periodic physical inventory counts and valuation analysis
  • Responsible for performing inventory reserve analysis, including factory returns and liquidation reserve analysis.
  • Will assist Controller and Assistant Controller with the high-risk reserve analyses: sales credit and warranty reserves, AR reserves, and freight and duty capitalization
  • Assist Assistant Controller with monthly consolidation of business entities and reconciliation of intercompany accounts
  • Fixed asset accounting
  • Research and reconcile all identified general ledger or sub-ledger discrepancies
  • Assist in designing and implementing internal controls across the organization
  • Assist in performing product line and customer financial and data analysis on a requested basis
  • Be the backup “Superuser” for all systems within finance/accounting
  • Assist with upcoming systems implementations

Qualifications

  • Must have a BS/BA Accounting degree and at least 4 years of progressive experience.
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and FRx or similar programs
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of major accounting software packages at general and sub ledgers levels
  • Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong analytical and accounting skills
  • Work with minimal up-front guidance and closely with all functions of the Company
  • Excellent communications skills required
  • MBA or CPA certification is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty
  • Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.

 


 

Accounting Associate

Description:

  • Well versed in all aspects of accounting matters, A/R-A/P- GL- inventory, account reconciliation.
  • Prepare periodic statutory filings, financials, as well as variety of routine accounting related reports and assist with annual audits.
  • Prepare financial forecasts, and analysis. Familiar with GAAP.
  • Administer the employee benefits programs including all health insurance, HR matters, 401 K.
  • Preferably have experience with export LC and related documentations.
  • Preferably Familiar with third party processing through EDI

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of solid experience in an accounting environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, team player with solid interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to multi-task & meet multiple deadlines in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Proficient in computer & spreadsheet applications.
  • Detailed oriented, organized, with high level of accuracy and analytical capabilities, highly motivated and an independent self starter.
  • Exposure to Southware accounting package is highly preferred.

Description:

  • Create and publish engaging text, image and video content on Social Media for three car audio and one home audio brands
  • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
  • Coordinate Facebook, email and other online advertising efforts with Campaign Manager
  • Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries
  • Be main point of contact for our Loyalty Program Point redemption process
  • Update email customer list opt in/outs
  • Oversee email blast distribution through third party provider
  • Coordinate with graphics and content on brand newsletters
  • Work with sales on product announcements
  • Post Press releases on website and distribute through third party newswires
  • Build a network of industry insiders to get releases and articles published
  • Fill out and upload deals and promotions to affiliates and deal sites

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of hands-on marketing experience with demonstrated social media expertise

The eCommerce Specialist is responsible for managing our brand websites and marketplace stores, engaging with customers, generating sales and analytics reports, and assisting other team members with data management, marketing, and branding programs.
