OXNARD, CA – January 2012 – New for 2012, the BOSS Audio IMPACT amplifiers are efficient, powerful and extremely compact. This unique design results in the smallest chassis ever developed by BOSS Audio engineers. Less than 1-11/16” High and 5-5/8” Wide, the IMPACT series offer three 2-Channel models, one 4-channel and one mono-block. The MOSFET mono-block IMP2000M (8-11/16” L) amplifier generates 800W continuous RMS power output with a maximum of up to 2000W peak power. The 2-channels models are rated at 2 x 200W (6-1/4” L), 2 x 350W (7-1/16” L) & 2 x 400W (8-11/16” L) RMS @ 4 Ohm. The IMP1000.4 (8-1/4” L) model is rated at 4 x 100W RMS @ 4 Ohm. These mini-monster amplifiers all feature Variable Bass Boost (0 to +18dB) with a Remote Level Control. Bridgeable, Tri-mode capable and stable at 2 Ohms give plenty of operational designs and installation options.
Continuing in the small footprint vein, BOSS Audio also introduces the tiny-but-mighty DISRUPT, Class D Mono-Block series. Sleek, low profile (1-15/16” H) and slim (6” W) in design, the DISRUPT models are overloaded with power. The DISRUPT Series is guaranteed to deliver dependable, highly efficient class “D” power stable to 1 Ohm to any mobile audio systems wanting maximum bass. The DST4000D (4000W Max @ 1 Ohm), DST3000D (3000W Max @ 1 Ohm) and DST2500D (2500W Max @ 1 Ohm) digital amplifiers utilize full-range circuitry to maximize efficiency and sound reproduction quality. All feature Variable Low Pass Crossover, Subsonic Filter, Variable Bass Boost, Phase Selector, Input Voltage Sensitivity Selector and Strapping Capability.
Both the IMPACT and DISRUPT amplifiers showcase the most technologically advanced, double sided PCBs and SMT (Surface Mount Technology) construction (machine soldered for ultimate precession).
