Boss iPhone radio

The Boss Audio iPhone radio has a docking cradle for the iPhone. But it may function without the phone as a typical CD-less (mechless) car radio with USB, AM/FM radio and Bluetooth. It has a built-in mic and SD card slot plus aux in. If you remove the front face, you get the dock for an iPhone 4, 4S or iPod touch to access your apps in the car. The model 810DBI also charges the phone. It is expected to ship in April at an estimated retail price of $199.

The brands’ new navigation radio will ship in March at around $399. It has a DVD player, Bluetooth with audio streaming, maps of all of North America and iPod/iPhone control. The double DIN unit has a 6.2 inch touch screen display. It gives you a mini USB jack on the front face and full USB on the rear. It also includes an SD card slot.

New Boss Audio mini amps fall under the IMPACT line and measure less than 2 inches high and under 6 inches wide. They include 3 two-channels amps, a 4-channel and a mono amp. The mono model IMP2000M is rated at 800 watts RMS and 2-channel models are rated between 200 and 400 watts by 2 at 4 ohms. The 4-channel IMP1000 is rated at 100 watts by 4 into 4 ohms. All have variable bass boost with a remote level control. They are bridgeable and stable at 2 ohms, said Boss Audio.
